The quality of the steel products can be guaranteed by system certificates , product certificates , additional tests and certifications for specific products as follows.

For construction products CE mark and the Declaration of Performance is normally supplied.

3.1 Statement of compliance with the order including specific test results (chemical analysis and
mechanical properties). Validated by the manufacturer's authorised inspection representative.

3.2 As 3.1 but validated also by either the purchaser's authorised inspection representative or
the inspector designated by the official regulations (LR , DNV , ABS, …..)

Electronic transmission and conservation of the certificates is explicity allowed by the standard (BS EN 10204).
